Comedian Lee Soo-geun's wife, Park Ji-yeon, has caught attention by sharing a significant phrase.
On the 26th, Park Ji-yeon posted on her personal account, "The Reason for Not Asking for Help."
In the post, she wrote, "There are people who ask, 'Why don't you say you're having a hard time?' Everyone carries their own burdens, so I don't want to add mine to theirs," and "I don't often ask for help. I tend to comfort myself. So, the day I seek someone out might be a day when I am really broken."
She also added, "After countless disappointments, the conclusion I returned to was one: Ultimately, the only person who can protect me is myself," which drew attention with its profound message.
Park Ji-yeon married comedian Lee Soo-geun in 2008 and developed kidney issues due to pregnancy-induced hypertension during her second pregnancy. In 2011, she received a kidney transplant from her father, and in 2021, she revealed that she was advised to undergo a kidney re-transplant, which evoked sympathy.
