
Comedian Lee Kyung-sil (59) is experiencing severe pain due to deteriorating health and is focusing on recovery.
On the 26th, Lee Kyung-sil posted a TV screen she filmed herself, saying, "The drama 'Love and Ambition,' which aired 19 years ago, is now on Netflix."
Lee Kyung-sil revealed that her symptoms of pharyngitis worsened after a recent recording, stating, "My throat hurts as if it's being torn, and I can't speak."
Despite this, she expressed pride in the joy of watching her past works anew, reflecting, "This work was a great blessing for me," and added her respect for writer Kim Soo-hyun.
In response to fans' comfort and support, she mentioned, "I couldn't speak until yesterday, but now I'm starting to be able to a little bit," indicating that she is on the road to recovery.
Previously, Lee Kyung-sil shared, "I spent the night with IV treatment. Since yesterday morning, I started feeling symptoms of a sore throat, and my whole body ached," adding, "When I get sick, I always keep cold medicine on hand, and after taking it and getting some rest, I thought I was okay while preparing dinner, but suddenly my symptoms changed, and even my eyes started to hurt," raising concerns.
