The movie ‘Harbin’ has maintained its position at the top of the box office, with daily audience numbers and ticket reservations both in the 40,000 range.

According to the statistics from the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system on the 8th, ‘Harbin’ attracted 48,912 viewers the previous day, bringing its cumulative audience total to 3,778,075.

Released on the 24th of last month, ‘Harbin’ depicts the intense pursuit and suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a single purpose and those chasing them in 1909. It surpassed 1 million viewers on its second day, 2 million on the fifth day, and 3 million on the ninth day of its release. However, the upward trend has slowed, and the break-even point is about 6.5 million, indicating a long way to go.

In second place is the long-running film ‘Firefighters’ (directed by Kwak Kyung-taek), which attracted 16,456 viewers on the same day, achieving a cumulative audience of 3,585,844.

In third place is ‘Bogotá: The Land of Last Chances’ (hereafter ‘Bogotá’), starring Song Joong-ki, which drew 11,022 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience to 347,370. The break-even point is about 3 million. Along with poor reviews, Song Joong-ki has faced humiliation with ‘Bogotá’ following ‘Rogiwan’ (Netflix) and ‘Hwaran’.

Currently, the real-time reservation rate shows ‘Harbin’ (22.1%) in first place, with over 43,000 tickets reserved. Following it are ‘It’s a Fairy Tale, but It’s Real’ (16.9%, over 33,000 tickets) and ‘Ferrari’ (8.9%, 17,000 tickets).
