Lotte Cinema is hosting various special events alongside the release of 'Dededidi: Part 1'.
'Dead Dead Demon's Dededidi Destruction: Part 1' (hereafter 'Dededidi: Part 1') is a captivating youth animation film adapted from the masterpiece youth SF manga by genius writer Asano Inio.
To celebrate the release of 'Dededidi: Part 1', Lotte Cinema will conduct various special events. In the first week of the release, they will give away the representative merchandise 'Special Art Card', which allows fans to enjoy the movie in a special way. The front features a poster image that enhances the quality with a three-dimensional feel for the characters and text, while the back is designed with a handwritten signature from co-stars Ikuta Lira and Ano, who prepared it to celebrate the Korean release and engage fans' desire to collect.
A special screening of limited edition 'Dededidi' T-shirts, in collaboration with the street casual brand Nice Ghost Club, will also take place. This screening is a unique opportunity available only at Lotte Cinema, scheduled for just one day in January, and is expected to see fierce ticket competition among fans.
An event will also be held where fans can receive a 'Sketch Board Set' featuring the main characters, Kadode and Oran, along with their signatures through a favorite sketch merchandise screening. Additionally, Lotte Cinema's sweet shop will exclusively launch the 'Dededidi Combo'. This combo will randomly include one limited edition keyring featuring the two main characters, Kadode and Oran, along with a popcorn and drink set, providing fans with another layer of enjoyment.
Kim Se-hwan, team leader of Lotte Culture Works' X-Con team, stated, "'Dededidi: Part 1' is an excellent animation with a remarkable worldview, story, detailed artwork, and voice cast," and added, "We aim to provide fans with special memories through various events prepared alongside the emotional impact of the work." He hinted that a 'Signature Movie Ticket' with high collectible value will be prepared as merchandise for the second week.
'Dededidi: Part 1' tells the story of two girls living their youth in a world where a colossal space battleship covers the sky of Tokyo, facing imminent destruction with high tension. It was released today at Lotte Cinema.
