'The Black Nuns' has released its second poster and main trailer.

The film 'The Black Nuns' tells the story of people who embark on a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.

The released main poster highlights the unique presence of Sister Unia, who has an unyielding temperament, alongside the strong will of the boy Hee-jun, who is possessed by the evil spirit, and the individuals with differing beliefs towards him.

"I am ready to go to the forbidden place" is a tagline that hints at the firm resolve of the two nuns who risk danger to save Hee-jun, amplifying expectations for the unique setting of 'The Black Nuns.'

The visuals of Sister Mikaela, Father Paolo, and the boy Hee-jun, contained within Sister Unia's veil, evoke curiosity about the diverse characters, while the backdrop of roaring flames and the sea suggests an unpredictable story.

The released main trailer piques curiosity with the tagline "No means will be spared," raising questions about the choices various characters will make in the absence of an exorcist. Unia, who will stop at nothing to save the boy, and Mikaela, who initially feels resistance towards Unia but eventually lends her strength to save the boy, along with Father Paolo, a psychiatrist who does not believe in exorcism, are expected to create a tense narrative surrounding the possessed boy Hee-jun.

The desperation of the two nuns facing the 12 manifestations that have reappeared in Korea adds a taut energy to the film, enhancing immersion, while the differing beliefs and choices of each character hint at an unpredictable storyline.

'The Black Nuns' is set to be released in theaters on the 24th.
