Lee Byung-hun shared his thoughts on working with Yoo Ah-in in ‘Victory’.

On the afternoon of the 19th, a screening and press conference for the movie ‘Victory’ was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Director Kim Hyung-joo and actors Lee Byung-hun, Ko Chang-seok, Hyun Bong-sik, Moon Jung-hee, and Jo Woo-jin attended.

Lee Byung-hun opened up by saying, “The fact that we are finally meeting the audience on the screen after many twists and turns is exciting.”

When asked about his experience working with Yoo Ah-in, Lee Byung-hun said, “When I heard about the casting for ‘Victory’, my anticipation grew, and I was excited. I thought we would have a lot of fun filming.”

He continued, “Since it was my first time working with Yoo Ah-in, I was curious. During filming, he was quieter than I expected. We didn’t have many opportunities to talk or discuss the scenes. We didn’t spend much time getting to know each other. However, when we were immersed in our roles and rehearsing together, he showed a serious side. This made it easier to get into the scenes.”

‘Victory’ tells the story of Korea's top Go legend, Cho Hun-hyun (played by Lee Byung-hun), who challenges the peak once again after losing a match against his disciple, driven by his innate competitive spirit. It will be released on the 26th.
