According to the integrated ticketing system of the Korean Film Council on the 22nd, 'Opposition' attracted 82,247 viewers the previous day, bringing its cumulative audience total to 870,736.
The film is a crime action story involving a broker in charge of designing the drug trade in South Korea, a prosecutor aiming for higher status, and a detective who is committed to eradicating drug crimes, all intertwined with different objectives. Directed and acted by Hwang Byeong-guk, it stars Kang Ha-neul, Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-joon, Ryu Kyung-soo, and Chae Won-bin. The break-even point is approximately 2.5 million.
'Victory' (directed by Kim Hyung-joo) maintained its second place. On the same day, it attracted 10,127 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience total to 2,010,922. It has surpassed its break-even point (1.8 million) and is enjoying a comfortable race.
In third place is Ma Dong-seok's new film 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters.' Although it has not yet been released, it attracted 3,424 viewers through a press screening and special preview on the same day.
The theatrical version of Attack on Titan: The Final Season - The Last Attack ranked fourth, drawing 2,960 viewers and bringing its cumulative audience total to over 755,000.
