Actress Lee Hye-young showcased her veteran charm, deeply immersed in her character.

On the afternoon of the 24th, at the press screening and media conference for the movie 'The Breakup' (directed by Min Kyu-dong) held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul, Lee Hye-young began by saying, "I wanted to show her as a human, not as an old woman."

She explained, "I felt the power that others call legendary. Being old is just a word. The character seems to break that stereotype," adding, "I thought of showing her as a human, not as an old woman."

She also shared, "As we started the action scenes, I got injured a lot, and Seong-cheol had a hard time," and continued, "During practice, I was bold with the stunts, but when it came to actually colliding with me, the strength was different. Seong-cheol must have felt disappointed. It seems that I came out as a much more capable woman than my actual skills."

Kim Seong-cheol responded, "I am not disappointed at all," adding, "We filmed the final duel scene for about a week. We shot from sunrise to sunset. Since it was our first time doing action together, the choreography was important, and although not everything was shown in the film, we designed a lot of action and filmed more. I think it turned out more dynamic because you chose the good parts from those."

'The Breakup' is an action film depicting the intense confrontation between 'Sculptor (Lee Hye-young)', a legendary killer who has been active for over 40 years in an organization that deals with cockroach-like humans, and 'Tuwu (Kim Seong-cheol)', a mysterious killer who has pursued him his whole life. The cast includes Lee Hye-young, Kim Seong-cheol, Yeon Woo-jin, and Cynthia.

Cynthia, who played Lee Hye-young's past self, expressed, "Since I only acted in the past timeline, I didn't see the current storyline on set. (Today) seeing the overall flow was fascinating," and added, "I felt good to experience what it would be like to grow up and become like (Lee Hye-young). I felt the power of this play, and it seemed that the message was well integrated and conveyed, which was enjoyable."

The film is set to be released on the 30th.
