The incident involving Xiumin of the group ChenBaekXi seems to be affecting artists under One Hundred.

On the 4th, Xiumin's agency, One Hundred, stated, "KBS has unofficially conveyed that it is difficult for SM artists to participate in the program featuring Xiumin," and claimed, "It is extremely unfair for a public broadcaster like KBS to make such a decision reflecting only the position of a specific company," bringing the conflict with KBS to the surface.

Xiumin is set to release his solo album on the 10th, marking his first solo release in 2 years and 6 months. He was scheduled to appear on KBS2's 'Music Bank' but was rejected by the broadcaster, leading to this expression of dissatisfaction. One Hundred is pointing out the contact between KBS and SM Entertainment.

Along with Xiumin, Chen and Baekhyun, both former members of EXO, transferred to One Hundred in 2023. At that time, the three expressed their dissatisfaction, stating that SM Entertainment failed to fulfill the record distribution commission rate and made unreasonable demands for 10% of personal sales, as well as not providing settlement documentation. In response, SM refuted, claiming it was a "reasonable standard" and accused One Hundred of tampering.

KBS has rebutted One Hundred's claims, stating, "This is not true. We are continuously communicating with the agency."

As a result of the Xiumin incident, artists under One Hundred, Lee Mujin and Lee Soo Geun, also refused to appear on KBS entertainment programs and initiated a boycott. According to broadcasting sources, Lee Mujin skipped the web entertainment 'Limousine Service', while Lee Soo Geun did not participate in the recording of KBS Joy's entertainment program 'Ask Anything'.

As the boycott of KBS appearances by One Hundred artists continues, KBS will hold a briefing for reporters on the morning of the 7th to introduce its new spring entertainment programs. Three CPs, including Han Kyung Cheon, the head of the entertainment center, will attend. Attention is focused on whether they will address the One Hundred incident.
