As tributes from fellow artists continue for the suddenly departed singer Late Wheesung, the funeral procedures will be delayed.
According to the police on the 11th, no signs of external intrusion or criminal suspicion have been confirmed so far. Investigations are ongoing regarding the existence of a suicide note and the specific circumstances of death. To determine the exact cause of death, the police plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service (NFS).
As a result, if the NFS conducts the autopsy, the funeral procedures for Late Wheesung will be postponed.
It is reported that Late Wheesung's side focused on the police investigation process after announcing the death and decided to temporarily hold off on the funeral procedures.
Earlier, on the 10th, Wheesung's agency, Tajo Entertainment, stated, “We are very sorry to convey such heartbreaking and tragic news,” and announced, “On the 10th, our artist Wheesung has left us.”
They further explained, “The deceased was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul and was pronounced dead.”

Following the news of Late Wheesung's passing, fellow singers in the music industry are expressing their condolences. Kim Chang-yeol posted on his SNS on the 11th, “I’m so sorry and saddened. I hope you don’t suffer there,” mourning Late Wheesung. Rapper Paloalto and San E also expressed their condolences, saying, “Thank you for being part of my good memories in my youth through music,” and “Rest in peace in the sky.”
