On the afternoon of the 13th, Jung Dong-won held a showcase to celebrate the release of his second regular album 'Gift from the Tall Man' at the Nodle Island Live House in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
Jung Dong-won rose to stardom by reaching the 'Top 7' in the TV Chosun trot audition program 'Mr. Trot' aired in 2020.
When asked how he has changed since then, Jung Dong-won said, "When I appeared on 'Mr. Trot', I was about 146-148cm tall, but now I'm about 176cm. I've grown 30cm in five years," surprising everyone.
Born in 2007, Jung Dong-won is now 19 years old. When asked what he wants to do when he turns 20, he said, "When I become an adult, I want to learn how to drink from the good older brothers and uncles around me. I've heard that you should learn drinking from adults."
Meanwhile, 'Gift from the Tall Man' is an album inspired by the novel 'Daddy Long Legs'. Like 'Daddy Long Legs', who quietly supports and conveys love and hope from unseen places, it signifies the warm comfort and support exchanged between fans and Jung Dong-won, becoming each other's 'Daddy Long Legs'.
