
Trot singer Tae Jin-ah expressed his longing for the late Song Dae-kwan.
Tae Jin-ah appeared on KBS's 'Gayo Stage' broadcast on the 17th and sang a song. The broadcast was conducted under the concept of "In Remembrance." Along with Tae Jin-ah, fellow singers Yang Ji-eun, Seol Woon-do, Han Hye-jin, Na Sang-do, and Kim Soo-chan also participated to share their feelings of longing for Song Dae-kwan.
On that day, Tae Jin-ah passionately sang Song Dae-kwan's "Four Beats" and showed an emotional moment by shouting "I miss you" towards the end of the song, conveying a sense of melancholy to the viewers.
Earlier, the late Song Dae-kwan passed away at the age of 78 on the 7th of last month.
Song Dae-kwan debuted in 1967 with "Kind Uncle" and left behind numerous hit songs such as "The Day Will Come," "Popular Song," and "Four Beats." He is particularly praised for providing hope through songs that represent the hearts of ordinary people. He was referred to as one of the "Four Kings of Trot" along with Tae Jin-ah, Seol Woon-do, and the late Hyun-cheol.
