Shin Ye-ji expressed her sorrow, saying, "At that time, I had no idea. The pizza we ate together was the last meal of oppa's life. It breaks my heart and is so sad. I can't believe it."
She continued, "We said we would meet again after the recording, and that day turned out to be our last farewell? I pray that you rest comfortably in heaven. I really miss you, Hwi-sung oppa."
Hwi-sung was found collapsed at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, around 6:29 PM on the 10th. A funeral was set up on the 14th, and the burial took place on the 16th.
The police reported that there were no signs of external intrusion or criminal suspicion, and they requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death.
