
Singer Moses (Chung-gil) shared his thoughts on participating in ‘Mr. Trot 3’.
On the 24th, a press conference for the top 7 of the TV Chosun trot competition program ‘Mr. Trot 3’ was held at the Stanford Hotel located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by ‘Mr. Trot 3’ CP Min Byung-joo, ‘Jin (眞)’ Kim Yong-bin, ‘Seon (善)’ Son Bin-ah, ‘Mi (美)’ Cheon Rok-dam (Lee Jeong), Chung-gil (Moses), Choi Jae-myung, and Choo Hyuk-jin. The venue was filled with reporters eager to see the top 7 members. Nam Seung-min was absent from the event due to military service.
The final episode of ‘Mr. Trot 3’, which aired on the 13th, achieved a viewership rating of 19.1%, setting a new record for the program.
Chung-gil is the stage name of singer Moses for this competition. He has been in the music industry for 20 years. Moses stated, “I had a lot of concerns before deciding to participate. I was doing something else, so it was a difficult decision. I’m glad that I was able to keep my promise to my fans a little bit.” He added, “Rather than thinking about establishing myself as a singer, I am grateful for the time spent with my colleagues.”
The members of ‘Mr. Trot 3’, including Kim Yong-bin, Son Bin-ah, Cheon Rok-dam, Choo Hyuk-jin, and Chung-gil, will hold a nationwide tour concert at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Seoul, on the 29th and 30th.
The management of ‘Mr. Trot 3’ top 7 is handled by Yuseonsu Entertainment. Yuseonsu Entertainment is a newly established management company by Yoo Byeong-jae, who successfully managed various artists including Koyote, ‘Mr. Trot 2’ singer Na Sang-do, and comedian Song Jun-geun through JJ Entertainment.
