
Kim Yong-bin, the winner of ‘Mr. Trot 3’, shared his thoughts.
On the 24th, a press conference for the top 7 of the TV Chosun trot competition program ‘Mr. Trot 3’ was held at the Stanford Hotel located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by ‘Mr. Trot 3’ CP Min Byung-joo, winner Kim Yong-bin, runner-up Son Bin-ah, third place Cheon Rok-dam (Lee Jeong), Chun-gil (Moses), Choi Jae-myung, and Choo Hyuk-jin. The venue was filled with reporters eager to see the top 7 members. Nam Seung-min was absent due to military service.
The final episode of ‘Mr. Trot 3’, which aired on the 13th, achieved a record high rating of 19.1%, setting a new personal best.
On that day, Kim Yong-bin said, “Before my grandmother passed away, she expressed her wish to see me on ‘Mr. Trot’. That’s why I participated. Right now, I have many schedules to fulfill, so I can’t feel the popularity directly.”
He continued, regarding the 300 million won prize, “I want to gift something to my family and our top 7 members out of gratitude. I also want to do something for my fans. Additionally, I want to reward myself with something that signifies ‘I really did well’. I want to go somewhere to relax and sleep comfortably since I haven’t been able to sleep well.”
The ‘Mr. Trot 3’ members, consisting of Kim Yong-bin, Son Bin-ah, Cheon Rok-dam, Choo Hyuk-jin, and Chun-gil, will hold a nationwide tour concert at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Seoul, on the 29th and 30th.
The management of ‘Mr. Trot 3’ top 7 is handled by Yusensu Entertainment. Yusensu Entertainment is a newly established management company by Yoo Byung-jae, who successfully managed various artists including Koyote, ‘Mr. Trot 2’ singer Na Sang-do, and comedian Song Jun-geun through JJ Entertainment.
