An unprecedented chemistry has emerged. This is why the future of 'Mr. Trot 3' Top 7 is highly anticipated.
On the 24th, a press conference for the Top 7 of TV Chosun's trot competition program 'Mr. Trot 3' was held at the Stanford Hotel located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by 'Mr. Trot 3' CP Min Byung-joo, along with 'Jin' Kim Yong-bin, 'Seon' Son Bin-ah, 'Mi' Cheon Rok-dam (Lee Jeong), Chun-gil (Moses), Choi Jae-myung, and Choo Hyuk-jin. The venue was filled with reporters eager to see the Top 7 members. Nam Seung-min was absent from the event due to military service.
The final episode of 'Mr. Trot 3', which aired on the 13th, achieved a viewership rating of 19.1%, setting a new record for the program.
First, Kim Yong-bin shared, "Before my grandmother passed away, she said she wanted to see me on 'Mr. Trot'. That's why I decided to participate." He added, "Right now, I have many schedules to fulfill, so I can't directly feel the popularity."
Kim Yong-bin continued regarding the prize money of 300 million won, "I want to give gifts to my family and the Top 7 members out of gratitude. I also want to do something for the fans." He expressed, "I want to reward myself with something that signifies 'I really did well'. I haven't been able to sleep much, so I want to go somewhere I can sleep comfortably."

Lee Jeong remarked, "I didn't realize how difficult the trot genre would be. I started with the illusion that I could express myself within the techniques and feelings I could manage. It was a very challenging genre, and expressing it was incredibly hard." He continued, "While broadcasting, I learned a lot by watching the members' performances. It was fun and rewarding to realize things while competing. I really enjoyed that process. When I was announced as 6th place, I was already praising myself for making it this far, but I was truly surprised to reach the position of 'Mi'."
Son Bin-ah, who has experience from participating in 'Mr. Trot' seasons 1 and 2, stated, "I am satisfied to have gone through all the seasons and achieved a good result this time. I felt that if you don't give up and keep challenging yourself, you will reach the top." He added, "Even if it means bleeding from my throat, I thought I had to show a wonderful performance. I feel like I was able to show what I worked hard for, and I'm having dreamlike days."
Before this press conference, the Top 7 showcased another charm that had not been seen on the show through the 'Mr. Trot 3 Gala Show', which aired on the 20th. The broadcast recorded a viewership rating of 9.7%, proving its popularity by ranking first across all channels during the same time slot. The peak rating soared to an impressive 11.3%.
In the 'Mr. Trot 3 Gala Show', the Top 7's entertainment skills and unexpected charms, which could not be seen in the main competition, will also be revealed. The second episode will air on the 27th.
Thus, the Top 7 members plan to actively communicate with the public through various content. CP Min stated, "We plan to present a variety of programs that highlight the charms of the Top 7 members," instilling anticipation.

On this day, the members continuously exuded strong chemistry with each other. Kim Yong-bin said, "There has never been a time when the bond between the Top 7 was as strong as it is now." Lee Jeong added, "They are members who fill in each other's shortcomings," and Moses also remarked, "The harmony we have is really good. I have high expectations for what we will show as a team."
In particular, Choo Hyuk-jin mentioned the youngest member, Nam Seung-min, saying, "He must feel sorry and anxious for not being able to join us, but don't worry, the older brothers are waiting well, and I hope he returns healthy after his service." He also expressed his determination, saying, "We will significantly increase TV Chosun's revenue so that we can have a five-year contract for activities."
The 'Mr. Trot 3' members, consisting of Kim Yong-bin, Son Bin-ah, Cheon Rok-dam, Choo Hyuk-jin, and Chun-gil, will kick off their nationwide tour concert at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Seoul, on the 29th and 30th.
