Singer Park Eun-ok expressed her desire to live as a musician even if she were to be reborn.
On the afternoon of the 25th, a press conference for the 2025 Jeong Tae-chun and Park Eun-ok Literary Project "Song, Break the Wall" was held at the Roh Moo-hyun Citizen Center in Wonsong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Jeong Tae-chun and Park Eun-ok, who celebrated their 45th anniversary since their debut last year, are representative folk musicians of Korea who sing about the times and humanity.
On this day, when asked if she is still happy singing, Park Eun-ok replied, "I have been singing for 45 years, and I feel that 'I am happy because I am a singer' as I grow older. So I think that if I were to be reborn, I would want to be a musician again."
She added, "However, I hope that I would be born with the talent to create like Jeong Tae-chun. Until now, I have felt happy when I am on stage, and I think I have lived as a lucky singer."
Meanwhile, Jeong Tae-chun and Park Eun-ok plan to commemorate their 45th anniversary through literature. They will release a new regular album titled "Between Heavy Rains" in April and will meet audiences with a nationwide concert tour "My Poem, My Song" starting in May. This performance will consist of Jeong Tae-chun and Park Eun-ok's songs, poetry readings, and brush calligraphy photos and texts.
