Singers Jay Park, DinDin, and Jeon Hyo-sung have donated funds for the recovery from wildfire damage.

On the 27th, Jay Park revealed on his SNS that he had donated 70 million won to the Disaster Relief Association.

Jay Park stated, “God, please watch over us. I express my condolences to the victims. May the deceased rest in peace.”

On the same day, Jeon Hyo-sung donated 10 million won through the Animal Freedom Alliance for the recovery from wildfire damage, aimed at helping animals affected by the fires.

Jeon Hyo-sung expressed, “I contribute this small amount with the hope that the wildfire damage does not spread further. I hope all living beings do not suffer.”

Singer DinDin also donated 10 million won through the Korean Red Cross. He had previously donated 10 million won to support victims during the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster, showcasing his positive influence.

Meanwhile, since the 21st, wildfires in the Yeongnam region, including Sancheong in Gyeongnam and Uiseong in Gyeongbuk, have resulted in casualties and numerous displaced individuals.

Currently, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has decided to expand the operation of the existing disaster safety initial response team into an emergency response team that includes relevant departments due to the ongoing dry weather and strong winds causing the wildfires to spread, resulting in many casualties and displaced individuals.
