Big Bang's Daesung is taking over ‘Let’s Be Friends 4’ with his insane energy.
In the 13th episode of U+ Original Variety Show ‘Let’s Be Friends 4’, which will be released at midnight on the 31st, Daesung from the legendary idol group Big Bang will appear as a special guest.
Daesung visited the studio for a historic collaboration between his channel ‘Jip Daesung’ and ‘Let’s Be Friends 4’. The four MCs and production team, who received tips in advance from the performance director who has worked with Big Bang, G-Dragon, and Taeyang, chose Daesung's representative song ‘Look at Me, Gwisoon’ as the welcome song.
In response, Daesung heated up the scene with his passionate dance moves and improvised lyrics as soon as he appeared. Showing an unstoppable high tension from the start, Daesung expressed pride in his performance, saying, “I danced to break the ice and ended up becoming ice powder.”
Meanwhile, Pungja transformed into GD wearing a pink wig and outfit, pressing Daesung's laughter button. Pungja introduced herself as “Pungdragon,” but the MCs remarked, “Not Pungja, but Okja!” referencing a character from director Bong Joon-ho's movie, causing the recording studio to burst into laughter.
Later, when Park Na-rae playfully warned, “You might get a cease and desist,” Pungja responded, “I did it knowing I might get sued,” and added, “The wig is too small, so it’s hard,” which generated more laughter.
Meanwhile, Han Hye-jin stated, “Big Bang is a grateful presence for me,” revealing that during her time as a rookie model in New York, she was able to endure tough times by listening to Big Bang's songs, drawing attention.
As the MCs, including Han Hye-jin, reminisced about their memories related to Big Bang, Eom Ji-yoon asked, “With the 20th anniversary approaching, do you have any special plans?” Daesung smiled meaningfully and said, “I’m placing great significance on the 20th anniversary with GD and Taeyang. We won’t let it go just like that,” heightening curiosity about the upcoming broadcast.
