
The funeral of the late Jang Je-won, former member of the National Assembly and father of rapper Noelle, is being prepared.
According to the industry, it is reported that the late Jang's son Noelle (real name Jang Yong-jun) shed tears while preparing the funeral.
The funeral is set up at the Busan Haeundae Baek Hospital funeral home, and condolences can be offered starting at 10:30 AM on the 2nd. The burial will take place at 9 AM on the 4th at the Busan Siloam Park Cemetery.
Former Congressman Jang Je-won was found dead around 11:45 PM on March 31 in an officetel in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. A suicide note was found at the scene, reportedly containing messages such as "I'm sorry to my family" and "I love you."
Noelle stated on social media, "How can I be okay, but don't worry about me. I've experienced a lot at a young age, so I won't crumble because of others, so don't worry. I will send him off well."
Afterward, as negative comments continued regarding Noelle and the incident, his agency Indigo Music announced, "We have determined that artist protection is necessary, and the company will manage all content going forward."
Before his death, the late Jang Je-won was serving as the vice president of a university in Busan and was under police investigation related to allegations of sexual violence that occurred in 2015. The accuser's side canceled a press conference scheduled for the morning of the 1st due to the news of his death.
