As the funeral of the late former People Power Party lawmaker Jang Je-won was set up, rapper Noel (real name Jang Yong-jun) was seen keeping vigil as the bereaved family.

The funeral for the deceased was held at the Busan Haeundae Baek Hospital funeral hall, and condolences began at 10:30 AM on the 2nd. The funeral service is scheduled for 9 AM on the 4th, and the burial site is the Busan Siloam Park Cemetery.

As the funeral was prepared, the deceased's son, Noel, was seen wearing mourning clothes and a mourning armband, standing by to greet guests. There were also people who appeared to be from the same industry by Noel's side.

Former lawmaker Jang Je-won was found dead around 11:45 PM on March 31 in an officetel in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. A suicide note was found at the scene, reportedly containing messages such as “I’m sorry to my family” and “I love you.”

Noel stated on social media, “How can I be okay, but don’t worry about me. Having experienced a lot at a young age, I won’t crumble because of others, so don’t be concerned. I will send him off well and return.”

Afterward, as negative comments about Noel and the incident continued, his agency Indigo Music announced, “We have determined that artist protection is necessary, and we will manage all content from now on.”

Before his death, the late former lawmaker Jang Je-won was serving as the vice president of a university in Busan and was under police investigation related to allegations of sexual violence that occurred in 2015. The accuser's side canceled a press conference scheduled for the morning of the 1st due to the news of the deceased's death.

Noel rose to fame in 2017 through the show ‘High School Rapper’.
