The official fan club of singer Park Seo-jin, 'Dhatbyeol', has stepped up to support wildfire victims.

On the 2nd, they donated 117.4 million won to the Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byung-jun) for wildfire relief in the Yeongnam region. The donation will be used for relief activities and recovery support for those who lost their homes due to the wildfires.

A representative from the fan club 'Dhatbyeol' stated, "We wanted to contribute in any way we can to help restore the lost daily lives," and expressed gratitude to everyone who has worked hard for wildfire response and recovery.

Meanwhile, the fan club 'Dhatbyeol' has been consistently donating to the Community Chest of Korea since starting a fundraising campaign to support COVID-19 victims in 2020. Notably, last year, they conducted a donation relay centered around the fan cafe to celebrate Park Seo-jin's birthday. Through this campaign, they donated a total of 58.21 million won and became a member of the 'Good Fan Club Gold' of the Community Chest of Korea.

The Community Chest of Korea is conducting a special fundraising campaign for the recovery and relief activities for those who lost their homes due to the wildfires until April 30.

Meanwhile, since the 21st of last month, wildfires in the Yeongnam region, including Sancheong in Gyeongnam and Uiseong in Gyeongbuk, have resulted in numerous victims, including fatalities.

Currently, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has expanded the operation of the existing disaster safety initial response team to include an emergency response team that encompasses relevant departments due to the spread of wildfires caused by ongoing dry weather and strong winds, resulting in many casualties and victims.
