Shin Hyung-kwan revealed plans to establish a new global label that connects domestic and international artists and fans, following Wake One and Japan's Laponé Entertainment.
He stated, "We are planning to launch a new global artist label, and I believe I can share more details in the first half of the year," adding, "Please look forward to the new label established by CJ ENM in partnership with global companies."
Meanwhile, CJ ENM is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mnet this year and plans to strengthen its competitiveness by focusing on three core pillars of its music business: global multi-labels, global production studios, and global platforms. In particular, they are determined to expand their presence in the global music market through the establishment of a global label, expansion of global target content, and the launch of new services from Mnet Plus within the year.
