The second concert of the world-renowned rock band Coldplay has begun.

On the afternoon of the 16th, Coldplay's concert 'LIVE NATION PRESENTS COLDPLAY: MUSIC OF THE SPHERES DELIVERED BY DHL' was held at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. Starting from this day, a total of six performances will take place on the 18th-19th, 22nd, and 24th-25th. Each performance is expected to attract about 30,000 people, totaling around 180,000 attendees.

The concert was divided into four sections. In the first section, 'Planet', Coldplay unleashed global hits such as 'Music of the Spheres', 'Higher Power', 'Adventure of a Lifetime', 'Paradise', and 'The Scientist', continuously captivating the audience. While the songs were great, domestic fans were curious about the first words from Chris Martin. Martin greeted in Korean, "Hello," and during the performance of 'Paradise', he encouraged the audience to sing along, saying "Thank you" in Korean.

Martin then said, "Please understand even if I'm clumsy. Nice to meet you. I'm happy to be here with you," touching the hearts of Korean fans with his somewhat awkward but earnest effort.

This concert marks Coldplay's first performance in Korea in eight years since their first concert in 2017, generating great anticipation from domestic fans. The response was explosive, with most of the initially planned four performances selling out through artist pre-sales and Live Nation pre-sales. In response, Coldplay added two more performances to accommodate fans who couldn't get tickets.

Coldplay's recent tour is focused on environmental sustainability, reducing CO2e emissions by 59% compared to previous stadium tours through innovative measures. Their latest album, 'Moon Music', released last year, became the world's first to be released as a 140g 'EcoRecord rPET LP' in addition to CD format.

At this concert, some standing areas featured a kinetic floor, allowing some audience members to generate electricity by moving on it. Additionally, a 'Power Bike' was installed, enabling audience members to ride bicycles while watching the concert to produce electricity needed for the performance, drawing attention.
