On the afternoon of the 18th, Sulli's older brother posted on his social media, "It's no different from six years ago. Still, I have understood a little of the homework you left behind." Here, 'six years ago' seems to refer to the year 2019 when Sulli passed away. This is interpreted as containing various emotions that her older brother is grappling with.
Earlier this month, Sulli's older brother also posted a revealing message targeting actor Kim Soo-hyun on social media. He claimed that the cause of Sulli's death was related to the 'real' movie, alleging that Kim Soo-hyun and the film director pressured Sulli into a specific role.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated, "The character in the film included exposure acting from the script stage, and this was communicated in advance during casting," adding, "Sulli and the agency were sufficiently informed, and there was no acting substitute. However, there was a standing-in substitute."
Sulli's older brother reiterated his demand for transparency regarding the director Lee Jung-seob's departure from the film, stating, "If there were no issues related to the film during the shooting, I request a transparent disclosure regarding the director's mid-way departure."
Sulli debuted as a child actress in 2005 and re-debuted as a member of the group f(x) in 2009, actively continuing her career as both a singer and actress. She tragically passed away in October 2019, leaving a sense of loss.
