"Do You Need a Korean President?"

The world-renowned rock band Coldplay mentioned the vacancy of the Korean presidency during their concert in Korea.

On the afternoon of the 18th, Coldplay held their second concert in Korea at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, as part of the "LIVE NATION PRESENTS COLDPLAY: MUSIC OF THE SPHERES DELIVERED BY DHL" tour.

After the concert, Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin asked, "Why is there no president when Coldplay comes?" and added, "Actually, do you need a president? It's great as it is."

He then suggested that if a president is needed, he has someone in mind, pointing to drummer Will Champion. He added, "Will Champion is kind to everyone except dictators, and he is a fun and strong good person," which drew cheers from the audience.

During their first concert on the 16th, Coldplay did not mention the vacancy of the Korean presidency. However, in a conversation with a Russian male fan, they responded with lyrics, "It must be tough coming from far away. If Putin (the Russian president) allows it, we might be able to perform (in Russia) someday," which excited the audience. The fan was seen in tears.

The reason this Coldplay concert attracted more attention among fans was due to the timing of their visit. During their first visit, former President Park Geun-hye was impeached, leaving the Korean presidency vacant. Currently, with former President Yoon Suk-yeol's dismissal, the situation is the same as before. Some have even suggested a parallel theory regarding Coldplay's concert in Korea.

Coldplay's second concert in Korea will consist of a total of six performances, each attracting about 50,000 attendees, aiming to connect with a total audience of 300,000.

Composed of Chris Martin (vocals, piano), Jonny Buckland (guitar), Guy Berryman (bass), and Will Champion (drums), Coldplay is a world-renowned rock band that has sold over 100 million albums, including nine studio albums.
