Former Maidin member Ga-eun has shared her feelings for the first time since leaving the group.

On the afternoon of the 28th, Ga-eun posted a lengthy message on her personal SNS account, stating, “It took me longer than I expected to write this.”

Ga-eun expressed, “It was very frightening and required a lot of courage to raise my voice in a world filled with recordings I didn’t even know existed and stories that are not true,” and added, “Despite that, I sincerely thank everyone who believed in me, waited quietly, and supported and worried about me warmly.”

She continued, “Those warm feelings have been a great comfort to me and have given me the strength to write this. Nevertheless, I am truly sorry for making you wait for such a long time,” and said, “During that time, I tried to keep my emotions in check and face this situation properly every day.”

Ga-eun reflected, “Being an idol was not just a job for me, but a dream I have longed for since childhood and a part of my life,” adding, “Every moment on stage, eye contact with fans, and the sweat and tears in the practice room are precious memories that I cannot express in words.”

However, she stated, “While working, I faced repeated hardships that overshadowed those memories,” and shared, “I had to endure unwanted situations, incomprehensible unfair treatment, and unexpected disadvantages, but I never once thought about giving up on my dream. I wanted to endure until the end. I was afraid that my dream of being an idol would end, so I endured and endured.”

Ga-eun indirectly mentioned the broadcast that first reported the incident with her agency. She said, “After that broadcast aired, I learned of my team’s departure through articles. The day I had to leave suddenly without being able to explain or greet my fans still remains a deep wound for me,” adding, “I was very upset and felt wronged. Since it was a dream I had wholeheartedly drawn throughout my school years, I will no longer avoid it and will honestly convey my feelings and what has happened so far. I may still have many shortcomings and be clumsy, but I will approach you with sincerity.”

Last November, JTBC's ‘Incident Manager’ reported that a member of a girl group was sexually assaulted by agency representative A.

In response, A denied the allegations to ‘Incident Manager,’ stating, “The member suggested first, ‘Please let me continue to be active in the team. I will be your daily girlfriend,’ and also asked to show me a movie first.”

As reports continued, 143 Entertainment issued an official statement denying, “There was no sexual assault or any sexual contact through power between the member mentioned in the broadcast and the representative, and the report is not true.”

In this situation, Ga-eun's side will hold a press conference on the morning of the 29th at a location in Seoul regarding the complaint against the forced molestation incident involving the representative of 143 Entertainment.
